America Bay walking track reviews
One of our favourite tracks, easy and short, family and beginner friendly, a beautiful waterfall and outlook at the end of the track makes it so rewarding.
In the 56 years of growing up on the peninsular this short walk has always been, pretty. The trail is quiet rocky, better to wear proper walking shoes. The waterfall was well underway, but the end rock lookout was closed due to all the past poor weather and erosion, but today the sun was out and the walk to the waterfall was just right.
25-30 minutes walking one way to waterfall site. Slightly slippery in rainy season. Parking lot on road available. Nearby toilet 4 kms. Medium difficulty in walk. Park time sunrise to sunset. Gate closes at 8.30 pm in summer and 6.0 in winter.
