Shalimar Indian Restaurant reviews
The best Indian food I believe I’ve ever had here. It has been open since the 1980’s. My family has enjoyed eating at this wonderful restaurant my whole life. Highly recommend trying it out.
The name Shalimar is such a beautiful name, belonging to a love story! It is a shame that the cuisine doesn't reflect this, the food is below average, and very bland, the daal was not tarka daal, there was no masala used, and the bbq …
I liked the open kitchen here but that was about it. It's been open for a million years though so the westernised palettes of Brighton clearly enjoy this subtly flavoured Indian offering. The quality was sound but the butter chicken and garlic naan were just a bit bland for my liking
