Highly recommended. After visiting Simpson's Gap, we decided to go straight to Ormiston Gorge and were not disappointed. The campground is beautiful, with plenty of space for camping and lots of trees for shade. The facilities are basic but clean, with hot showers and toilets available. The kiosk is a nice touch, offering hot food, drinks, and souvenirs. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend Ormiston Gorge Campground.
A beautiful place. Our only complaint was the smell coming from the septic. It was so bad that one lot of campers moved to a site further away. Facilities are basic with 2 toilets (including a disabled) and 1 shower. No rubbish bins provided. The camp areas are large and there are plenty of happy campers around, so you will always feel safe. The BBQ area is a nice addition for picnics. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but the septic smell was a downside.

Large camp areas and plenty of happy campers around so you will always feel safe. A BBQ area with a few picnic tables is available as well. Overall, we had a great time at Ormiston Gorge Campground.
