Our mother passed recently at Calvary Ryde. The staff were exceptional in their care for Mum and their professional dealing with all of us involved. I couldn’t recommend them more.

My mother and my very good friend passed away,.......two years apart...both had dementia ... Calvary carers are wonderful...but the Manager and the supervisors are cold and not interested in the 'real people'. They do not keep the same caregivers rotating. I feel that I can never complain while Mum is still alive and they 'take care' of her or will have it in for her. I have spoken to Management about my concerns and it's like I am talking to the wall. We were just given new Management who seem exceptionally good, fingers crossed.

My grandparents were residents here for many years until my grandfather passed and when my nan was too unwell she was moved into the hostel. We were given 48 hours to pack up and move out of their two bedroom unit. When my nan was moved she was unable to bring any keepsakes or her wall art to her new room, including the stuffed animals my grandad bought for her. We feel, as a family, abused and traumatised by this, and feel even more so now that she's passed away. We would caution anyone else to look elsewhere.
