A nice public small pool with a recently-refurbished playground. The pool is shallow so even toddlers can enjoy water play. The playground is shaded but the pool is not, so make sure to take a sun hat with you. The water is a bit cold.
A free day out with little ones in the water doesn't get much better than this. Free shallow depth water playground, picnic facilities, playground alongside, toilets and Village Cafe close by.
