Canberra is a great place to visit. Check out Parliament House, the Australian War Memorial, Telstra Tower and the Mount Ainslie lookout. The arboretum is also great. Don't think that Canberra is full of just politicians and roundabouts.
A city focused on revenue raising from speed camera vans that are often hidden from clear view (today between two larger vans) and at bottoms of hills together with The stress of attempting to navigate poorly signed roads, makes this a city I will visit as little as possible in the future.
