These mature gums all along the City Council exercise track on the Western border of Pakapakanthi. There are a lot of trees there, almost certainly not original so likely planted by the Adelaide City Council or by the Victoria Park Racing organisation a long while ago. No sign of recent plantings which is a bit of a worry.
We visited today to walk around the newly opened wetlands. What a great space. Accessible with good paths, lots of space and once the plants grow it will be amazing.

The mature gums along the City Council exercise track on the Western border of Pakapakanthi are a beautiful addition to the park. It seems like they were planted a long time ago and have grown nicely. The only concern is that there are no signs of recent plantings.
