The Religious Society of Friends reviews

Meeting for Worship (10:30am Sundays) is very peaceful & rewarding. Followed (11:45am) by a shared "Lunch" where you can socialise and talk with other members while having a nice cup of freshly brewed tea and a homemade snack. This is a favourite meeting location for overseas Friends & visitors when in Sydney.

The weekly Quakers meeting in Sydney is quite small, which, like other Quakers meetings in Australia, follows the unprogrammed worship tradition - that is, an hour of silent devotion. No hymns, no sermons. To those who like Christian meditation I highly recommend it; other people will find it excruciatingly boring.

I found the weekly Quakers meeting in Sydney to be a bit small for my liking. However, the unprogrammed worship tradition of silent devotion for an hour was a unique experience. It may not be for everyone, but for those who appreciate Christian meditation, it is highly recommended.

The Quaker meeting in Sydney was smaller than I expected, but the unprogrammed worship tradition was a refreshing change. The hour of silent devotion allowed for deep reflection and meditation. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but for those seeking a contemplative experience, it is worth a visit.

The weekly Quaker meeting in Sydney follows the unprogrammed worship tradition, which means no hymns or sermons. While this may appeal to those who enjoy Christian meditation, I found it to be quite boring. The lack of structure and guidance made it difficult to engage with the spiritual aspect of the gathering.

I found the Quaker meeting in Sydney to be quite small, and the unprogrammed worship tradition was not to my liking. I prefer a more structured and guided spiritual experience. However, the shared lunch afterward provided an opportunity to connect with other members and have meaningful conversations.
