AVOID “THE HIRE GUYS” I have recently had a very unfortunate experience with The Hire Guys in Wangara. I hired a concrete grinder to do my garage floor and it didn’t work when I got it home. I returned it the very next morning, explaining the situation, only to be told that I was not going to get a refund because I “hadn’t turned up the voltage switch on the machine!” I explained that there was no voltage switch but was told in no uncertain terms that I was wrong. I requested to speak to the manager, but apparently he “doesn’t want to speak to anyone” and I should “contact head office”. I have contacted head office, who immediately sided with their incompetent staff and refused to offer any kind of refund or compensation. I will not be using The Hire Guys ever again.
