Tasmanian Aboriginal Health Service reviews
Always long waits especially if you are seeing Sam witch is by far the worst doctor
The reception staff are amazing. Even with it being hard to get an appointment at the moment. They are very helpful. Thank you.

Literally not helpful at all. They’ve started to only take “book on the day” appointments but no matter which day I call, they’re already booked and they tell me to call back tomorrow at 8:45am again… happened 4 times already and as someone who works full-time this system just does not work for me all all, definitely going to go elsewhere because I need a doctor that actually cares about their patients.
I found the facilities and amenities at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation to be lacking. The waiting area was cramped and uncomfortable, and there were not enough chairs for everyone. The bathroom facilities were also dirty and in need of maintenance. Overall, I was disappointed with the physical environment of the organisation.
The quality of products and services provided by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation is top-notch. I have always received excellent care and treatment during my visits. The doctors and staff are knowledgeable, professional, and caring. I highly recommend this organisation for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals seeking quality healthcare.
The wait time at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation is often excessive. I have had to wait for over an hour past my scheduled appointment time on multiple occasions. This is frustrating and inconvenient, especially when you have other commitments or responsibilities. I hope they can improve their efficiency and reduce wait times in the future.
I am very impressed with the ambiance and decor of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation. The waiting area is clean, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. The artwork and cultural displays contribute to a welcoming and respectful atmosphere. I appreciate the effort the organisation has put into creating a culturally sensitive environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients.
The customer service at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation is exceptional. The reception staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive. They always greet patients with a smile and are willing to go above and beyond to assist. I have had positive experiences with the administrative staff as well. Overall, the customer service is a highlight of my visits to the organisation.
My personal experience with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation has been mixed. While I have had positive interactions with some doctors and staff, there have been instances where I felt dismissed or not listened to. It is important for healthcare providers to genuinely listen to their patients and address their concerns. I hope the organisation can improve in this aspect.
Overall, my experience with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation has been satisfactory. The initial impression and atmosphere of the organisation were welcoming and respectful. The staff were professional and attentive. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. While there have been some minor issues, I feel that the organisation has made an effort to provide quality healthcare services to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
The value for money at the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation is questionable. While the services provided are important and necessary, I have found them to be quite expensive compared to other healthcare providers. As a financially disadvantaged individual, this can be a barrier to accessing the care I need. I believe the organisation should consider implementing more affordable options.
I appreciate the efforts of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisation to provide healthcare services to the community. However, I have found the reservation system to be frustrating and ineffective. It is difficult to secure an appointment, even when calling at the designated time. I hope the organisation can address this issue and improve the booking process for patients.
