Last visited 28 December 2022 so thought I'd share a review on here. Fabulous zoo!! Far better than any zoo's in NZ. Cost is only NZ$50 (or about AU$44) and that included the gondola. Return ferry to Circular Quay - public transport is dirt …
Amazing views? Check. Beautiful scenery? Check. Heaps of animals? Not really. …
The over all experience was great. Beautiful ferry ride across the bay, amazing bird show and plenty to see. Put your walking shoes on because it's on a cliff. Lots of steep paths and steps. Great for exercise. Some of the larger animals have quite small enclosures Was the only downside.
