The atmosphere of the restaurant is very welcoming. The decor is elegantly designed with traditional Japanese elements, creating a cozy and authentic feel. It's a perfect place to go for a date night or a casual dinner with friends.
I had to wait for quite some time to get a table even though I had made a reservation. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed and it took a while for them to seat us. However, once we were seated, the staff was attentive and the service was good.
The sushi rolls were made with fresh and high-quality ingredients. Each bite was packed with flavor and the portions were generous. The sushi chef did a great job in balancing the flavors and textures of the rolls.
I was disappointed with the lack of vegetarian options on the menu. As a vegetarian, I had limited choices and ended up having to order a side dish as my main course. It would be great if the restaurant could expand their vegetarian options.
The restaurant had a nice selection of sake and Japanese beers. The drinks were reasonably priced and complemented the food well. We enjoyed trying different types of sake and it added to the overall dining experience.
The customer service was top-notch. The staff members were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They provided recommendations and made sure we had a great dining experience. The owner also came to our table to check on us, which was a nice touch.
The initial impression of the restaurant was not very good. The exterior looked run-down and the entrance was not well-lit. However, once we stepped inside, the interior was nicely decorated and had a warm and cozy atmosphere.
The prices at the restaurant were quite high compared to other sushi places in the area. While the quality of the food was good, it felt expensive for what we got. We ended up spending more than we had planned.
Overall, my experience at SUSHI DA was satisfactory. The sushi was decent, but there was too much rice in most of the rolls. The flavors were good, but I would have preferred a better balance of ingredients. I might consider trying other sushi places in the future before coming back here.
