We booked online before catching the ferry from Queencliff. We carefully read information about sites and selected one that looked accessible for our small (6mtr) motor home. However, when we arrived at approx 5:45pm it was almost dark. Turned out this camping area was beyond the tree line, around a bend and down a very narrow steep road. We were directed to turn around and try another site within a fenced off area that was awaiting a new toilet block. By the time we drove around and found the new area in the dark, it was too late to attempt parking as the ground was just grass, which would not have been suitable for our small motor home trusters. We had to leave in the morning and find another place to stay overnight. We don't mind whether we are in a caravan park or not. Our bit of heaven depends on how helpful staff are and the amenities, this site was far away from what we consider helpful for our circumstances.

The toad up the road made sure we had plenty to eat on the drive home!!!
Great park with good shower facilities. However, on arrival the camping spots were changed and not explained to us. Would have liked more information on activities or attractions nearby.
We were blown away by the beautiful location. Our camp was next to a waterhole in a nicely grassed area surrounded by trees. The campers next to us had the same experience. Two beautiful young ducks came to visit us all afternoon and we enjoyed both feeding them and watching them going about their daily business. When it got too cold chasing flies at 5:30pm they left us for their home in the bay. We reckon their teacher said it was time to be 'home moon talking'. Great school.
The camping area was beautiful. It was in walking distance to the beach and was very well kept. The only negative was the lack of shade, but overall it was a great place to stay.
The facilities at the campground were clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. However, the sites were quite small and close together, which made it a bit crowded. The campground is in a good location, close to the beach and other attractions.
