April 2023. Fresh, Fresh, Fresh Second visit today on an overall 5 day stay in Robe. $74 a kilo for flathead fillets…. So Chose crayfish at $65 a kg! Delightful evening dinner back at the van.
Unfortunately they had run out of crayfish when we arrived. Prawns were nice, fish was really nice but the batter was dripping in oil. Had no where to wash your hands which was odd when shelling prawns. Wanted it to be so much better.

This was my second visit and the quality of the seafood was excellent. The prices were reasonable and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend this seafood wholesaler.
The seafood at this wholesaler is always fresh and delicious. The live crays are a great deal compared to the cooked ones. The battered fish and chips are cooked to perfection.
The flathead fillets were a bit expensive at $74 per kilo, but the crayfish at $65 per kilo was a good choice. The dinner I had with the crayfish was delightful.
The prawns were nice and the fish was really nice, but the batter was dripping in oil. It was also odd that there was no place to wash hands when shelling prawns. Overall, it could have been better.
