I took my daughter for a walk around James St and decided we would get a scoop of gelato. Well, the Gelato Messina place had a line a block long, but Quench nearby also had gelato but no line at all- and that really should have been a big mistake. The gelato was definitely NOT resting on its laurels, being one of the ONLY ice creamistic activities on James St- it was just plain lousy. It was museum lousy, as my daughter noted. She said when she grows up and the Frankenstein is real, he will snatch ice cream from the signs of this shop because it is bad. Her words, not mine. Still a good walk though, shame about the lousy ice cream
