NSW Electoral Commission reviews

Hard to negate web page put in all my information and got ABCD etc but no information. Phoned had to press to many buttons. Asked which suburb informed them it was a country town but this did not compute repeated many time post code street …

Very poorly organised website. Impossible to even find out where polling booths are located. It could be so simple.

Money hungry. Cant believe they send debt collectors for failure to not vote. I don’t owe you a cent, but now I will pay some fine because I don’t want the stress. You know people have done it tough for years now, I guess you guys need more money for pot plants around the office.

I think the fines for not voting are excessive. People may have valid reasons for not being able to vote and should not be penalized for it.

I had to make a few phone calls to the NSW Electoral Commission and I found the experience frustrating. It took too many buttons and prompts to get through to a real person. The operator also had difficulty understanding that I live in a country town and needed assistance with my address details.
