Moruya Museum reviews

Very interesting reading about local people, events & the history in general. If people are interested in local history they need to spend some time & read about it. We spent two hours which went really quick & we became members at the end.

Quaint small museum, with an excellent Genealogy research centre staffed by helpful, competent, friendly volunteer staff, Wednesday is the best day to attend as there are at least 3 volunteers available to assist researchers with local, Aussie and international data available.

What an interesting place.....a very illuminating history of the local area all on display in lovely old heritage country house. Lots of stories...indigenous, gold mining, dairying, quarrying for prize granite, bushrangers and family life. Kids intrigued by telephones and laundry fascilities!!! Worth a visit.
