Hot and sour soup was just chicken stock with heaps of pepper in it. Vegetable chow mein had no noodles. Special fried rice had no vegetables. Lemon chicken sauce was green. The only redeeming qualities weee the free crispy fried noodles and it was ready when they said it would be. Won’t be going back,
The friendly staff and the fish in soy and shallots were great. The garlic prawns were also a winner. They forgot the chopsticks and I had to ask for my Chinese tea. Unfortunately, it was a bag, not leaf. …
Glad Michael's Chinese has finely re-opened since moving from Old Bar Taven. Food very much the same thank god. Hope they do well in this position which is proving a hit with their take-away. …
