We were quite worried about taking the Subaru Forester (MY13) on this road as it is not 4WD (but it is AWD). The road gives you a bone rattling drive (thanks to about 70km of corrugations), however in the end it was OK. The car was fully equipped with camping gear and proved to be very reliable throughout the entire trip. We loved the freedom of being able to drive wherever we wanted and explore the beautiful landscape. Overall, a great experience!
