A very informative museum! Had many displays and exhibitions about the daily family life back during the gold rush era for those who are interested. Entry fee was $5 for adults and $3 for concession. Located right on Piper St so we didn't have to go somewhere far, very cozy once you are inside. Highly recommend for a family outing

I took my 4yo nephew we both loved the collection of taxidery native animals, the old railway station clock and machinery. We took part in the puppet workshop and watched the puppet show it was all great.
