It’s a nice scenic drive up to here & not a lot to see right here other than the signs of information, so just depends on what your wanting or looking for as to if it’s worth the drive, but for me it was to say I’ve been to have a look, going to check out a few places for fishing & such on the drive back.

Despite the fact that you are couple of km from Koombooloomba Lake, there isn't any other access up than to drive back to Innisfail direction and go around 220 km over South Johnson to Ravenshoe (Palmerstone Hwy). …

Great place to work with stunning scenery and friendly staff

The power plant offers a nice scenic drive, but there isn't much to see at the site itself. Depending on what you're looking for, it may or may not be worth the drive. Personally, I visited just to say I've been. On the drive back, I plan to check out a few places for fishing.

The location is a bit remote, with limited access to Koombooloomba Lake. You have to drive back to Innisfail and go around 220 km over South Johnson to Ravenshoe. However, the drive is scenic and the staff is friendly. Overall, a great place to work.

The power plant is surrounded by natural beauty, but there isn't much to experience at the site. The drive is scenic and it's worth visiting to say you've been, but don't expect a lot of attractions. I'm planning to check out fishing spots on my return journey.
