Group Homes Australia is a fantastic organisation. My sibling has been with them for a little while now and she is the happiest she has ever been. It feels like a big family. I would highly recommend GHA to anyone. Thankyou so much for all that you do for your clients and their families.
I'm happy to see how welcoming GHA has been to mum. They've made her feel like part of a family, which is rare in facilities around. They've given her the opportunity to experience different activities and all within a loving and cheerful environment. Thank you GHA Vaucluse!

I was despondent looking for dementia care for my mother when exclusively consulting the government website. When visiting facilities, I was sad and angry to find that the dementia residents were always stuck in the dark spaces, the gardens were only for the residents with capacity, music rubbish and whilst I love reading Tom Clancy as much as the next person, it does limit brain and life stimulation. Not so at Group Homes tamarama where everything I was after was present. The Home is beautiful and really looks like a home. Home Dwellers - not 'residents' have the opportunity to get great hair styles, manicures and experience sensory activities on a daily basis. Such a beautiful place and experience for family to include and be included. Thank you GHA, for my peace and an unsurmountable joy in my heart that I have made the correct choice for my musical mum through staging and the journey through dementia. Oh, did I mention EVERY moment my mum now experiences is happiness!
My mum has Alzheimers and I needed to get her into respite, I was not disappointed with GHA Vaucluse. From the moment mum entered to the moment she left she was treated as part of the family. She went on bus trips nearly everyday, assisted in whatever was happening in the home, encourages music and musical activities and always well presented. I picked mum up amongst hugs from the other home dwellers, tears from the Home makers and a big smile still on my mum's face! Thankyou so very much! Highly recommend!!
After the death of my father, my Mum was fortunate enough to move to Group Homes in Rose Bay. A beautiful environment under the care of an amazing team of wonderful, loving home makers. Mum was happy there and the freedom for the family to visit and stay as long as we wanted in a family dining room was so lovely. - Highly recommended.
