Lauren is very friendly, so are her camels. Unfortunately, having been there on 17/03/23, the property is extremely unsanitary and a health and safety issue, so I would not recommend people visit until significant work is done to complete the renovations and improve cleanliness of indoor areas.
The camels are adorable, however the living conditions were not up to basic standard. Seems like a renovation but unfinished, lots of hazards around the house and farm, unsafe and unhabitable.

The wildlife refuge was a disappointment. The facilities were outdated and not well maintained. The staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. I would not recommend going.
