Only just off the highway, this place feels so secluded. 4WD required to get in, sandy and rocky patches on the drive in. Bit unclear where the actual camping boundaries are. No facilities. Just barely gets a bar of reception, more available at Glen Helen Gorge
Fantastic Free Campsite on the edge of a pretty river with plenty of birdlife and close to Ormiston gorge. The track in is a little sandy in patches. There are no amenities so you will need to be fully self sufficient.
Awesome spot on the Finke river, however it is now not a free campsite. You need to book through the NT Parks website which is a bit of a shame as locals love this place.
