Chao Kong 潮港 Eastwood reviews
2023-06-07 Had afternoon tea there and the food quality was average for this kind of Hong Kong style cafe (Char Charn Teng). We had one Satay Beef Soup Noodles and one …
It was great, but not now anymore. We thought the chicken was still raw with the colour of pink in the meat. The waitress said the colour was due to the marination. Yes, she was correct. The chicken was cooked through but it was not fresh. You could tell by tasting lots of baking soda added to the meat.
The place is exactly as you would expect. The food here is alright but the portions are a bit on the smaller end. The drinks were alright and can come free with certain dishes but you add $1.50 if you get it cold. Which confuses me as you’re getting less liquid as they just add ice.
