I have two children at cape byron Steiner school and it has been such a supportive, friendly and creative school for my children to attend. The staff go above and beyond to know each and every child not only in their academic life but their personal life as well. The teachers are nurturing and really take the time to understand each child's unique talents and challenges. The school offers a holistic education that focuses on the child's development in all areas - emotional, social, intellectual, and physical. It's a beautiful environment for children to learn and grow.
Applied to this school for my son’s kindy about 2 years ago. When you try to call the school no one answers, when you email, you get an automated email response. There has been zero human interaction throughout this entire process. After two years of waiting and having paid over $200 in application fees, we never heard back from the school. It is extremely disappointing and frustrating.
Best check out my other reviews on Steiner schools. These schools can go awry, and are not all the same. They can be non-inclusive and non-progressive. This school in particular has some very strange ideas about children and their development. They cling to outdated beliefs and practices that are not safe or beneficial for the children. I would not recommend attending this school. One star.
