Canberra Museum & Gallery reviews
Had a lovely experience. The staff were friendly and it was small so made it quicker to get around as opposed to the national galleries. …
Walking distance from Canberra centre, easy stroll from civic centre. 4 small exhibitions about the history of the establishment of Canberra. My favorite? Platypus exhibition, small not very informative but, learnt about platypus preservation at Coombs Peninsula. Worth a visit. Coffee shop & free Wi-Fi available.
I loved the diversity of the exhibitions and the welcoming staff. This is a lovely venue with comfortable spaces that give you the space to take in the exhibits. A weekday visit is a good way to avoid crowds so you can take the time to appreciate everything that's on offer.
