Calais Estate Winery reviews
As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia tour of the Hunter Valley, my 3rd stop of the morning was here, I loved the building, which had a great feel, and also a very interesting story behind it. They were quite busy, but Susan and Natalie were fantastic in taking me in for a quick tasting. I really enjoyed my visit.
Booked an intimate romantic grazing picnic at Calais, and boy were we surprised! Calais had exceeded our expectations from the sheer size of the grazing platter and variety of food options, to the wine, to the beautiful and romantic picnic …
Beautiful vineyard with a resuturant and cool cellar door. The wines are pretty good and they have a reasonable selection of choices. They also offer cheese boards and you can do little outdoor picnics! Worth a visit.
Calais Estate Winery is a beautiful place to visit. The vineyard is stunning and they have a great restaurant and cellar door. The wines are good and they have a nice selection to choose from. They also offer cheese boards and outdoor picnics. Highly recommend.
