Was on a work trip and I needed some sustenance on a weeknight. In the CBD there aren’t a great deal of options. I received a very effusive welcome from Max, even though the restaurant was quiet. The steak I ordered was cooked perfectly and came out with a lovely green salad and crunchy chips. The portion size was generous and I would have finished if I had not eaten two slices of the delicious garlic bread which was brought out with her. The most memorable part of the evening was my conversation with Kaarla. Friendly, warm and engaging, she was the ideal person to chat with when I was dining solo.
