I'm at a homeless shelter in Queensland run by St Vincent De Paul. It costs $133 per week instead of $230. The food is better, the rooms are better, the staff are more helpful, it's cheaper, and no tamps. If you're not a tamp then these people will just take your money and treat you like poo.
All of the workers that Bethlehem are extremely professional empathetic and make you feel much welcome I would definitely recommend anyone going through a difficult time to at least give them a call and see if they could do, as they did me.
This is an amazing center run pretty much on a shoestring supporting people from all walks of life struggling to get back on track. Please don't judg. As we are all guilty of doing. Think about offering support. Thanks
