Beechworth Historic Park reviews
Great place to enjoy a picnic with family or friends somewhere around the park as you have many places to sit back and enjoy what the park has to offer. You could even walk from town to the park as it is so close. But it it only a 1 way …
A pleasant ~5km gorge drive with stop-offs. The track is all one way with a few small car parks to stop and take a hike. 4-wheel drive is not needed in the summer, but it may difficult when the track is wet. The gorge looks great and the water is crystal clear.
We did a ~5km loop at 6:30am to avoid the summer sun and heat, and it was just beautiful. Most of the time the walk is actually on a dirt road, so plenty of space to walk safely.
