Thank you to Australian Coastal Safaris for the most amazing few days. Everything was organised for us. Having communicated to the team what we were keen to do whilst staying on the beautiful Eyre Peninsula, a wonderful three days of exploration and adventure was offered to us and chosen by us in advance. The trip exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The accommodation at the Naracoorte Caves Wildlife Park was comfortable and the tours were great fun. The highlight was the sunset tour and feeding of the Kangaroos. David has a deep knowledge of the Eyre Peninsula, its flora and fauna and its history. He introduced us to places we would never have found or appreciated by ourselves. He also has an impressive knowledge of bushcraft and surf launching and recovery. On so much of our journey we were off-road and going places few other visitors have been. The wildlife was extraordinary. We had close encounters with Kangaroos, Emus, Wallabies, Wombats, Lizards, Birds and much more. There's the famous Seal Bay with Sea Lions and remote beaches with tiny Penguins. We saw Koalas, amazing birdlife and Dolphins. Extra Highlights included Coffin Bay with some of the most pristine waterways and mangrove systems in the world, doing the self-guided Oyster Farm tour with the freshest seafood lunch, rugged and remote Whalers Way, Memory Cove with its wildlife and stunning farmlands with its varied wildlife and interesting history. One of the highlights was doing the Oceanic Eyre 4x4 beach fishing adventure tour in finding fresh seafood, cooking and serving us a BBQ fish lunch and exploring amazing coastal landscapes that can only be found in this region. We had the freshest seafood and plenty of it. I was catching fish after fish all day. Thanks to Australian Coastal Safaris for the most unbelievable few days.
