I put in an expression of interest form (adopt an animal) for a cat that we brought in to the vet (then taken to the care centre to see if it really did have an owner), and I was informed over the phone that we would be the first to get the cat if no owner showed up. A few days later, I received a call saying that the cat had been adopted by someone else. The staff was not helpful and did not seem to care about our interest in adopting the cat. Overall, a disappointing experience.
The staff at Albury Animal Care Centre is rude, arrogant, and lacks compassion. They seem to have no idea what they are talking about and are only interested in grabbing your money. Their prices are ridiculously high for the service they provide. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They are heartless and cold.
My cat was picked up by a ranger and taken to Albury Animal Care Centre. However, they got the dates wrong and I had one day less to pick him up. When I finally got him back, he was covered in fleas and had a terrible odor. I had to wash him multiple times and treat him for fleas for a week. The care centre should have done a better job taking care of the animals.
I filled out an expression of interest form to adopt a cat at Albury Animal Care Centre. The staff informed me over the phone that we would be the first to get the cat if it didn't have an owner. However, when I followed up, they told me that the cat had been adopted by someone else. The communication and transparency from the staff were lacking, and I was disappointed with the experience.
