This school changed my life. 7 years ago I walked in as a disengaged 15 year old with a young child, I'm now living a happy and stable life, working in a great job, and finally studying to become a teacher to be able to have that same impact. Best thing that ever happened to me. Thanks Albert Park.
I attended Albert Park Flexi in 2009-2010. Prior to starting I had severe bullying that left me isolated in my room for so long. The school was a lifeline for me. The teachers were caring and supportive, and they helped me regain my confidence and love for learning. The atmosphere at the school was safe and welcoming, and I was able to make friends and participate in activities that I never thought I would have the opportunity to do. I am forever grateful for my time at Albert Park Flexi.
This place should be de-funded and an external review should be conducted into the ethics and safety of this government facility. The staff at Albert Park Flexi did not support the students or take their concerns seriously. They created an environment that was toxic and damaging to the mental health of students. I would not recommend this school to anyone.
