Everything is on the money here. It isn't like what you would expect to see if you spent your life watching drag racing movies, but there's easy viewing and its not too far of a drive to get to... Unless you came from Sydney like I did.
The raceway is now around 46 years old and it shows. Unfortunately the landlord doesn't want to spend any of his fortune on the place. It does show potential, but I think it's to late. There hasn't been a major drag racing evening since …
Disappointing to see such an asset wasted; neglect and failure to promote its use has seen it slip backwards so far from its former glory when it hosted Formula 5000 and the like. It suffered when Touring Cars were moved to Mallala and with the development of the Tailem Bend facility, we are unlikely to see much improvement. Sad.
